LSU moves in on in-state QB

New Orleans (La.) Holy Cross quarterback Sean Santos is considered one of the top quarterbacks in the state of Louisiana for the Class of 2005. If there was any doubt about that, just talk to his offensive coordinator about what happened this past weekend.
“Sean attended LSU’s junior day this past weekend,” Chris LaMothe, Holy Cross’ offensive coordinator said. “He and his father were told by LSU’s offensive coordinator, Jimbo Fisher, he was only three quarterbacks they are going to recruit.

“They’re going to recruit Sean, Ryan Perrilloux and a quarterback out of Florida.”
But LSU isn’t the only team after the 6-foot, 185-pounder. Santos is scheduled to attend Alabama’s junior day this upcoming weekend. He’s also getting regular correspondence from Arkansas, Kentucky, Nebraska, Stanford, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.
Santos threw for 2,375 yards and 25 touchdowns as a junior. He threw for 2,485 yards as a sophomore. He’s earned all-district honors two years in a row and was a member of the all-parish team for the third year in a row.
