Merrill has set up what he expects to be his final two
official visits.
Merrill, who visited LSU in November, will make trips
to Ole Miss on Jan. 10 and Auburn on Jan. 17.
"I've pretty much got it narrowed down to those
three," he said. "LSU is my leader. They'd be hard to beat at this point."
Alabama had also been in the picture, and had an
official visit set up before the coaching change, but Merrill has since
dropped the Crimson Tide from his list.
Merrill is a member of the
Rivals100 team and the No. 3 strongside defensive end in the nation.
