LSU lands ATH Beckwith

After losing defensive back Landon Collins to Alabama last year, the Tigers secured one of the top players in the area in Kendell Beckwith.
It's a big win for Les Miles, not because of landing the player, but the perception that LSU had lost some ground in its home state.

The Tigers now have 11 prospects committed from their backyard.
"I feel more at home at and I was most comfortable with during the whole process," he told ESPN.
Beckwith brings versatility to the Tigers' class. He can play any of the linebacker spots or put his hand on the ground and rush the passer.
The 6-foot-3, 228-pounder is dynamic with the ball in his hands, but his future is on the defensive side of the ball.
