The offer sheet continues to grow with impressive names for one of Louisiana’s top prospects.

So who holds the upper hand?
“Well, Florida State is always on my mind,” he said. “I grew up a big fan of them, so when they offered it was kind of like a dream come true.”
When asked if he had any thoughts of making an early commitment to the Seminoles, Alexander said: “I thought about it, but it’s too early. I’ll probably wait until the end of the season. I want to take some visits and see which programs are the strongest at the end of the season.”
The others he’ll be keeping a close eye on are LSU and Michigan.
“LSU is a great program close to home, and they’ve been picking up some serious talent the last couple of years, so I’m looking real close at them,” Alexander said. “I went to their camp and had a great time. It was real intense, and I learned a lot while I was there. I like the coaching staff a lot.
“Michigan, tradition-wise, has me real interested. They’re a great winning program with good academics, too. I’d like to make a visit up there.”
He added that Miami and Texas would also be under consideration if either school offered a scholarship.
Alexander (6-3, 266, 4.9) is coming off a junior season which saw him record 80 tackles and 10 sacks to earn all-district honors.
Academically, he maintains 2.5 GPA and is awaiting his test scores.
