LSU commit visits OSU

Klein Collins offensive lineman Matt Allen crossed the Red River for the second time this summer to check out another Oklahoma institution.
Allen, who committed to LSU in the spring, visited the University of Oklahoma earlier in the summer and returned from Stillwater after a weekend at Oklahoma State.

"Mike (Goodson) was putting the heat on me, so I went to check it out," he said.
Allen's teammate Mike Goodson committed to Oklahoma State a month ago and is recruiting potential teammates from the Houston area.
"I'm done with any trips and I still like LSU. I'm firmly committed to LSU," he said. "We start two-a-days next Monday, so I'm ready to strap it up and play football."
Among Allen's goals this season are to be named first team all-state and win some playoff games. Klein Collins has not reached the playoffs since it began playing varsity football.
Allen is the No. 39 prospect in the state of Texas.
