LSU commit still being pursued

After outside linebacker Ronnie Feist of Edgard (La.) West St. John committed to LSU in February, a few schools gave up.
But even more intensified their pursuit.

"Since I committed, I've gotten offers from Maryland, USC, Tulane, Louisiana-Monroe and Stanford," Feist said.
According to the 6-foot-1, 233-pounder, who checks in at No. 204 in the Rivals250, two Pac-10 schools are trying the hardest to get him away from LSU.
"USC is still contacting me," Feist said. "Their [assistant] coach, Coach [Ed] Orgeron, said, 'I know you're committed, but we're still going to extend an offer and still see if we can get you there for a visit.' They want to get me there to see what they have to offer. They said they're still coming out to see me. Stanford also is expected to come by. I don't know when the guy from USC is supposed to come. But the guy from Stanford is supposed to come the 17th or 18 [of May]."
So, where does Feist stand with his commitment to LSU?
"Well, I'm pretty much 100 percent sure I'll be attending LSU," Feist said.
Thus far, Feist has been to LSU five times this year - twice for junior days, twice for spring practice and once for the team's spring game.
"I like LSU a lot," Feist said. "I have quite a few friends who attend there, and I have a cousin who goes there," Feist said. "I also have friends from the previous signing class there, and a friend [tight end Dillon Gordon] who committed the same day as me. I like [defensive coordinator John Chavis]. He's a great coach and I like the energy he brings to practice. I don't see any other university having something that I wouldn't get from LSU."
