LSU commit continues to consider A&M
THE LATEST
Zach Edwards remains committed to LSU, but that pledge seems to be on shaky ground. On Friday, the four-star linebacker said his recruitment is still wide open and spoke glowingly about Texas A&M, which he plans to visit again this fall.
Edwards also mentioned schools such as Ole Miss and Mississippi State as places that might get official vists. Edwards mentioned his relationship with Texas A&M coaches as the reason he’s considering the Aggies despite his commitment to LSU.
IN HIS WORDS
--“It’s pretty much LSU versus Texas A&M.”
--“I really like [A&M assistant Bradley Dale] Peveto. I like him a lot. He’s just a cool person to me. I could play for him.”
--“I liked the visit [to A&M]. The campus is huge, man. That was kinda cool. The visit was, like, last month.”
--“LSU is just telling me to stick with them. I like it, but I just feel like I want to look at A&M.”
--“I like coach [Dave] Aranda. I like how he bases the defense off of the linebackers. I like that.”
