LSU camp ahead for 3-star linebacker

Haynesville (La.) three-star linebacker Kendrick Jackson has been a hot prospect in the northwest corner of Louisiana. He has size and an eye for the ball, and college coaches have been drawn to his abilities.
Over the course of the spring and summer he continues to see his offer list grow, and he is taking in everything the recruiting process has to offer.

At this point the 6-foot, 221-pound defender has reached double digit offers with ULM and Georgia State the most recent to extend offers. The two programs join Arkansas, Army, Hawaii, Indiana State, Louisiana Tech, Louisiana-Lafayette, Memphis, South Alabama, Southern Miss, and Tulsa on Jackson's offer list, and Jackson has no complaints at this point.
"It's been going good I'm just working out and running right now," Jackson said.
Next up on his schedule is a trip to Baton Rouge for LSU's camp in July.
"I'm going to LSU in July," Jackson said. "Yes sir, coach Steve Ensminger, he's the tight ends coach. They want me to come show out at camp."
He is not claiming any leaders right now in his recruiting process, and when it comes to coaches standing out he is also taking a similar approach.
"All the coaches are really cool," Jackson said. "I'll know better once I visit the schools and see the coaching staffs in person."
Right now, he does not have any visits scheduled, but he is in the process of getting everything planned.
"We're still working on them," Jackson said.
Jackson is currently ranked No. 44 in the Rivals.com Louisiana Preseason Top 50.
