LSU and others offer Maryland DB

There's no doubt that Pomfret (Md.) McDonough cornerback and running back prospect A.J. Wallace is easily one of the top players in the country.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pounder now has 10 offers in his pocket. He had five already from Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State and Virginia, but he has added offers from Michigan State, LSU, UConn, Vanderbilt and NC State. Wallace was also told Syracuse is about to offer too.
Did the latest offers make him think twice about his favorites?
"I'm still wide open," he said. "But I'm starting to look at Louisiana State now that I've got a chance to look at the coaching staff. They've also told me that they want me at running back."
Wallace recently visited junior days at Virginia and Maryland.
"The junior days were good," he said. "Virginia has some nice facilities and I've been to Maryland a lot so it's like second nature to me. The coaching staffs really stuck out from the visits and I got to talk to them one on one and that really put things in perspective for me."
Wallace has also received a lot more mail from Virginia Tech recently.
This spring Wallace is planning to attend the Nike Combine at Penn State as well as the Blue Chip Combine at Rutgers.
