LSU adds Rivals250 playmaker

Donaldsonville (La.) Rivals250 wide receiver Stephen Sullivan announced he would make his college decision on December 26. LSU, Mississippi State and TCU were his choices. He took official visits to all three, and Saturday he announced where he would spend the next few years.

THE LATEST: Speculation has been split pretty evenly between LSU and TCU, and the day after Christmas, Sullivan announced he would play his college football at LSU.
RIVALS' REACTION: Sullivan was one of the first commitments of the LSU 2016 recruiting class, and LSU has remained among the leaders since he decommitted. TCU gave the Tigers a nice challenge for Sullivan but at the end of the day he could not resist the pull of Baton Rouge. The commitment could not have come at a better time either. Les Miles and the Tigers have lost a little momentum on the recruiting front, and getting Sullivan back in the fold is a big win. He is a former commitment, he is a major in-state prospect, and he gives the Tigers a big, athletic target in the passing game.
PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Sullivan is a huge target at 6-foot-6 and 210-pounds. He uses his big body to get position on defenders and uses his basketball skills to attack the ball at its highest point. He has the body control to make quick adjustments to the ball and he has a nice burst out of his cuts. Those abilities and physical gifts make him a tough match-up for any defense whether he lines up inside or outside.
