Lowery starts setting up officials
Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes offensive tackle Chaz Lowery is seeing interest pick up from one school recently. So much interest in fact for the 6-foot-5, 268-pounder that the school is one of two officials in January.
"Connecticut has come back into the picture since the summer," he said. "Coach Perkins flew down last week and I'm planning on flying up there as soon as the dead period is over for an official."

Has Connecticut offered?
"Coach Perkins told me he would not fly me up without offering and he is making plans to fly me up," he said. "I'm not really sure if it's an offer. I never really asked point blank, but I just figure if he's going to fly me up there then he's offering."
Does Lowery know anything about the Huskies?
"I'm not sure, but I know they are a good school."
The lineman has one other visit coming up.
"I'm going to East Carolina on the 14th for an official. I'm going to Richmond sometime as well."
Lowery earned second team all-Beach this year playing in just half the season due to injury.
