Lowe likes Hokies, Terps

Vincent Lowe is a rising junior all-purpose back from Chesapeake (Va.) Grassfield and he's already got two verbal offers to his credit.
The 5-foot-8, 170-pound back claims offers from Old Dominion and James Madison, and he's hoping to hear more from a couple of FBS schools. Those two offers came in May and June.

"My team went to Maryland and they're supposed to be getting back with me shortly," Lowe explained. "They said it all depends on what they think of my highlight tape."
Lowe thinks of himself primarily as a running back but said he may best be classified as an athlete for recruiting purposes because he lines up all over the field and plays defense, too.
Last fall he carried the ball 112 times for 937 yards and a dozen touchdowns. On the other side of the ball he totaled 20 tackles and intercepted four passes.
Lowe said ODU and JMU are his favorites for obvious reasons but he also likes the Terps and one other ACC program.
"I'm very interested in Virginia Tech," he said. "My good buddy J.C. (Coleman) explained how the facilities at Tech are amazing and how much the fans love you there."
