Loves team facing tough test on Friday

North Little Rock, Ark., Jamar Love is one of the top players in the Natural State. He has been sitting on an offer from the in-state Arkansas Razorbacks for quite sometime, but it appears that two other schools could be close to extending offers.
“Rice and Memphis have been recruiting me real hard lately too,” Love said. “I am looking at them real hard along with Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss and Nebraska. This weekend I am going to the Arkansas-Ole Miss game.”

Love measured in at 6-foot and 186 pounds at the Texas A&M NIKE camp and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds. He ran the shuttle in 4.73 seconds at the camp, has a 29-inch vertical jump and did seven reps on the bench press.
“I have not set up any official visits yet,” Love said. “To tell you the truth, not much has changed with me recently. We play Springdale in the play-offs Friday and they are the top team in the state probably so I am focused on beating them. Whenever my season is over I will concentrate more on recruiting.”
Through 10 games this season Love has 45 carries for 465 yards rushing and two touchdowns. He has five receptions for 230 yards and three touchdowns. On defense he has collected 55 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and forced three fumbles.
