Lovell schedules his first official

Christchurch, Va. offensive tackle Josh Lovell has scheduled his first official visit. The 6-foot-6, 266-pounder plans to visit the school next week. Where is he headed?
"Everything is going good," he said. "I had a talk with Marshall and they're looking like my No. 1 choice right now.

"The coach I've talked to is really nice and he's told me a lot of stuff. I'm planning to visit there next weekend on the 15th. I don't really know what to expect from the visit, I just want a good feeling when I'm there and a place I could call home."
Marshall isn't the only school interested in Lovell. The three-star prospect holds offers from East Carolina, Maryland, South Carolina and West Virginia.
"I'm still hearing from all of them," he said. "I fell into a problem with my grades this year. I fell one credit short because of my school change, but we have gotten it figured out this week and it should be fine now."
That news has left schools a bit leery. However, others are interested as well.
"Miami has been showing some interest," he stated. "I'd like to try to visit Virginia Tech, East Carolina and South Carolina too."
Lovell and Christchurch went 3-5 this past season as he earned first team all-state honors both ways.
