Loukas ready to learn from Harris

Deerfield, Ill., quarterback Alex Loukas, who committed to Stanford in late November over a scholarship offer from Purdue, is looking forward to working with coach Walt Harris on the West Coast.
"There were a lot of reasons I picked Stanford," Louksas said. "I really like coach Harris and his background with quarterbacks. And they have a brand new stadium.

"And I was the only quarterback they recruited."
The school and the weather were important to Loukas too.
"Obviously the academics are great," he said. "And you can't beat the weather."
The 6-foot-4 and 193 pound Loukas led Deerfield to a 9-2 record during his senior season. He passed for 1800 yards and 16 touchdowns while also rushing for 800 yards and 15 TD's.
