Kennesaw (Ga.) Harrison two-star strongside defensive end James Case saw his senior season come to an end on Friday when his team lost in the state playoffs 19-14. The lost still stings, Case said, but he’s now looking forward to the recruiting process.
“Coach Nord from Louisville is coming by the house tonight and then I’m expecting coach Rufus from Duke to come by here on Tuesday,” Case, who is 6-foot-3 and 240 pounds, said. “I’m really starting to get excited about the recruiting process and ready to take some visits. I’m hoping to get those set up, and maybe I can take my first visit here this weekend.”
Case said he is expected to line up visits with Louisville, Kentucky, Duke, Ohio and Miami of Ohio. He has offers from all of those teams, except from Louisville.
“I’m thinking that I’ll probably take my visits with (teammate) Justin (Boyle),” Case said. “Coach Nord is over at his house right now. I know he’s committed to Duke, but I think he’s going to probably take some other visits and see what’s out there.”
Case said he does not have a leader at this point.
