Louisville, SDSU like Cimina

Pleasant Hill (Calif.) Diablo Valley College offensive lineman Adam Cimina said his season has been up and down, but his coaches, who are handling his recruiting, have told him that some strong programs are interested.
“I know that Louisville, San Diego State and Ball State are all interested,” Cimina said. “I know Louisville hasn’t been known for football in the past but this year they’re putting it together with a hard offense, and I like how the coaches and players work together as a team. I haven’t seen much of San Diego State, but my coaches say they have a good program going there, too.”

Still undecided on where he will take official visits, Cimina insisted that his destinations will be determined by which teams are most interested in him.
“I’m not sure where I’ll go visit yet,” he said. “Hopefully I’ll go to Louisville and San Diego State, and maybe somewhere else also. I’ll probably go after the whole season is over. I think I’ll be ready for the challenge of going out on my own.”
Until the season ends, the 6-foot-8, 330-pound Cimina says that he’ll focus on settling down on what he has called a “rollercoaster ride” of a season.
“We’ve beaten some good teams but we’ve gotten beat, too,” Cimina said. “We beat ourselves when we don’t play together, and I think we just have to get everyone on the same page. I’m a pretty balanced player, and I don’t give up a lot of pressure on the quarterback but I love to lay it on top of people to open things up for running backs.”
