Three-star defensive end Rashawn Shaw is "pretty firm" on his commitment to Louisville according to his father, Michael Shaw. However, he knows his son will likely take all five official visits this fall.
Among the schools that will probably get visits are Georgia Tech, Michigan State, N.C. State, and Wake Forest.
Shaw is planning to graduate early and take part in spring practice when he arrives to college.

Mr. Shaw said the recruiting process is hectic and his son wants to make sure he sees all the options. He stated, "You never know what's going to happen. Players get dropped and coaches leave. The coaches at Florida were trying to get him to the Friday Night Lights camp recently."
Although Rashawn's dad would like him close to home to play in front of friends and family he understands there are other opportunities outside of the Sunshine State. He noted, "Some in-state schools aren't recruiting their backyard like they did before. He can leave and have the same opportunity."
As a junior, the three-star defender recorded 25 tackles for loss and fourteen sacks.
