Class of 2017 Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch wide receiver Jerry Jeudy plays with two of South Florida's most explosive athletes in 2015 Rivals100 members Calvin Ridley and Shawn Burgess-Becker, but recently he's been the one catching the eye of college coaches as well.
"I got offered by Louisville after they saw my spring game," the 6-foot-1 rising sophomore said. "Then I camped with Miami a few weeks ago they offered me, too. I was very excited when I got that one."
Jeudy, who also plays club 7-on-7 with Ridley and Burgess-Becker for the Florida Fire, said he's enjoying starting to get some attention of his own.
"It feels good that my hard work is paying off," he said. "I like being known and I'm glad schools are starting to take notice."
After next weekend's IMG National Championship, the offseason 7-on-7 tournament season is pretty much wrapped up, clearing the way for Jeudy to start making college visits.
"We're going out to a ton of schools next month," he said. "We're going to Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Ohio State, Louisville and a bunch more."
With so many top programs on the docket, Jeudy said he's excited to see what each has to offer. However, there's one school in particular he's excited to see.
"I heard Tennessee is really nice," he said. "I just see other guys from down here posting on Twitter about it and stuff like that so I want to see how it is for myself."
