Young has family on the Atlantic Coast, so the Eagles and the other ACC programs are high on his list.
"I like the ACC schools because I have family there," Young said. "I want to check out schools in places like North Carolina, Virginia and South Carolina. I plan to be at every camp this summer in coastal cities and states that I can get to and also hope to improve my combine numbers. I ran a slow time at the last combine I went to, so I hope to get my speed up along with improving my power and agility."
Young had approximately 50 tackles and three sacks during his junior year.
"I think I can play rush end in college," Young said. "I've got moves, I'm speedy and I've got power. I need to work to get more power and agility."
In addition to his desire to achieve on the field, Young has academic goals as well.
"I want to major in business," he said. "I like to deal with business and hope to own my own business some day."
Young is a member of the Rivals250 to watch for the Class of 2008.
