THE LATEST: Recruiting can come at you fast.

A few days back, Tyler Scott held two scholarship offers. Dartmouth and Mississippi State were the only programs to make things official. In the four days since, the number of available options has tripled.

Louisville came to the table this week. As did NC State, Syracuse and Kentucky. And despite naming Mississippi State the leader less than 200 hours ago, things have now changed. Given the change in circumstance, the class-of-2019 defensive back’s quick pivot is understandable.

“As of right now, Louisville is the favorite,” Scott said on Wednesday.

Then, things can change quickly for a prospect gobbling up offers as quickly as Scott. Of this fact the star safety is aware. There’s plenty that could impact his recruitment down the road, including an interest from one program in particular.

“A dream offer? That would actually be Duke,” Scott said “ With them, you get everything overall You get the football and the education. That’s where I think the perfect balance is.”

IN HIS WORDS: “Mississippi State's campus was a nice. It’s secluded. It’s a small college town. It was nice. I liked it.”

RIVALS REACTION: Scott’s recruitment remain in its infancy so projecting him is tough. Schools such as Duke and Stanford could be game changers if they come along. That said, there’s no telling what offers will arrive and when. Scott’s future will take shape in the year ahead.
