The Latest: During the entire recruiting process, three-star Georgia prospect Khalil McClain has kept a relatively low profile. In fact, he recently learned from his head coach that he has nearly twice as many scholarship offers as he thought. But despite suddenly having a whole new crop of schools to choose from, McClain said he's focused on a few that have been the most consistent with their interest. Over the past few months, Louisville and Mississippi State have kept the heat on McClain, who said he's going to reevaluate his options in the coming weeks and hope to zero in on a decision date. Rivals.com caught up with McClain to discuss the Cardinals and their pursuit of him to date.

In His Words: "Louisville and Mississippi State have been talking to me the most. I really like Louisville's passing offense and I like their quarterback. They throw the ball around. Any school that throws the ball around a lot is going to catch my attention. That's what I like. They want me to play wide receiver, not tight end, and that's what I see myself as. I don't play tight end. I'm a wide receiver. It would be a great experience to play with a guy like Lamar Jackson and that's what I'm looking for in a college, great experiences. It's been a few months since I visited but I'll go back sometime later this summer."

Rivals Reaction: As mentioned above, McClain keeps his recruiting news quiet, so it's surprising to see him discuss the Cardinals as one of his favorites. The key will be to track if and when he takes additional visits over the summer. If he makes his way to to Louisville it could be a major help to the school's chances of landing him.
