Louisville has the edge for Ohio DB

South Euclid (Ohio) Brush cornerback Kevin Houchins probably won't be making a decision anytime soon but for now the coaches at a Big East school have to feel good about the position they're in.
The 5-foot-11, 174-pound corner seems to be taking a wait and see approach to the recruiting process and he will be attending several camps this summer.

Depending on whether he picks up new offers the picture could be dramatically different several months from now. Nonetheless, it's worth noting that, at least among those schools that have offered, Louisville has the edge.
"I've got offers from Louisville, Toledo and Central Michigan," Houchins said early this week. "I've spoken to all of those coaches.
"Probably the one that's sticking out the most right now is Louisville. I like their coaching staff. I've heard a lot of great things about their staff and I've talked to a couple of them. I want to go down there and meet them in person. They're telling me I'd fit in well with them."
Houchins has been hearing from West Virginia, Pitt, North Carolina, Kansas, Kansas State and Iowa a lot, though those schools haven't offered.
"Some of them, like Kansas, have come to the school and just said they couldn't talk but they're going to evaluate my tape. Then they'll tell me what they think from there," Houchins noted. "Some other schools want me to camp.
"I plan on visiting some schools and getting out to some camps this summer. I'm going to try to visit all the schools that have offered this summer and I'll probably go to camps at Pittsburgh, Illinois, Michigan State and North Carolina."
Houchins, who has been clocked at 4.6 seconds in the 40-yard dash, is being recruited as a cornerback and a kick returner.
Last fall he registered 50 tackles, two interceptions and eight pass breakups.
Houchins said he wants to make his decision just before the start of his senior season.
