Louisville, Clemson, Florida in mix for Rivals250 LB Justice Dingle

The Latest: When he left the Nashville area to move to Bowling Green, Ky., Class of 2018 Rivals250 linebacker Justice Dingle wondered if his recruiting would suffer. But after a dominant season that saw him make the Kentucky All-State team, he’s actually seen an uptick in interest from several major programs. Rivals.com caught up with Dingle to talk about his new interest and his plans for visits this offseason.

In His Words:

On Louisville: “Louisville has really been showing me the most attention since I moved to Kentucky. I really like the campus and I’m supposed to go back up there for a basketball game sometime soon. It’s a great place to watch a game, football or basketball.”

On the Cardinals season: “They had a pretty good start but when they didn’t get ranked where they wanted to it seemed like they took their foot off the gas a little bit. They just have to finish strong and if the would have they would have been in the playoff.”

On Clemson: “I went to Clemson in the summer and camped they said I did really well and they’ve been keeping in touch. I was talking with Coach Venables and he said he really likes me and likes how I move around. It’s a great atmosphere. Just very welcoming environment and the coaches are just flat out respectful all around. It’s easy to see why guys go there because they are easy to talk to.”

On Florida: “The coaches at Florida are really trying to build a relationship with me and they want me to come down and see campus. They are on my list of places I really want to see this summer. I’ve been talking to Coach Nord and he said they want to see me before they offer. They don’t get up to Kentucky very often but they saw my film and they know my coach and we’ve gotten in contact.”

Rivals Reaction: Dingle is set to take off this spring and the offers will likely keep rolling in once he starts to make the rounds on visits. Right now the Cardinals appear to be in a good spot but it will be interesting to see what happens when other programs jump in the mix.
