Alexandria, La., standout Nick Harris has scholarship offers from schools all over the country including Midwest powers Michigan, Ohio State, and Notre Dame.
"I have 21 offers, Harris said. "LSU, Ohio State, Miami, Michigan, UCLA, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Arizona State, Tennessee, Auburn, Ole Miss, those schools all offered. There's more."
"I went to LSU and Texas A&M's camps. I visited Tulane, LSU, Texas A&M, and Miami. I probably won't take anymore visits this summer."
"I'm going to take my official visits before I decide (on a college). I'll take all five visits."
"LSU and Texas A&M are definitely going to be two of my visits. Those are the two schools that showed interest first."
The 6-foot-2 and 208 pound Harris made 125 tackles and intercepted 10 passes from his free safety spot during his junior season. Harris took back four of those interceptions for scores.
Harris was asked about the three Midwest schools he mentioned.
"Ohio State has a great coaching staff. They have a great program. They produce great athletes who go to the league. I haven't been there, but I probably will sometime."
"Michigan was in the Rose Bowl against USC. They're always in a bowl game. Michigan is as big as it gets."
"Notre Dame is an outstanding program. They're rebuilding, but they have a new coach in Tyrone Willingham. They always have a good program."
