Louisiana WR thinking about staying home

Zachary (La.) Northeast receiver Aaron Brown has seen his stock continue to rise after starting off a solid senior campaign that has included 21 receptions for 287 yards and seven touchdowns. He also has one kickoff return for a score and has brought back two punts for touchdowns, which is why he’s now ranked as the nation’s No. 43 receiver.
“I have offers from Oklahoma State, Auburn, Southern Miss, South Carolina, Michigan and Ohio State,” said Brown, 6-foot-2, 195 pounds. “I want to stay closer to home, so I’m not really interested in Ohio State or Michigan. I want to stay where it’s warm.
“I just think that’s what I want to do. But I wouldn’t say that I’m closing any doors or anything, but that’s what I think I want.”
Brown at this point does have one official visit lined up. He’ll visit South Carolina on Jan. 14. No other visits have been scheduled.
