Patterson (La.) four-star 2015 wide receiver Daylon Charlot currently holds offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Mississippi State and Notre Dame, but he has also been talking to a few other programs.
"I've been talking to Miami. That's my leader for now," Charlot said. "I'm getting a lot from USC and a lot of other schools."
Charlot is also receiving interest from LSU, UCLA, and Texas A&M. Miami currently leads the way, and there are a few reasons the Hurricanes have his attention.
"I just like the way they run their offense, and I believe coach Al Golden is a good coach and he would prepare me for life after college at the next level," Charlot said.
It also does not hurt that Charlot has been keeping an eye on the Hurricanes for a few years now.
"They've been a school I've been watching," Charlot said. "I just liked the tradition. Anywhere I go I can help the team out to help them win."
The standout receiver has not received an offer from Miami, but the Hurricanes have let him know he is high on their list. He is currently planning a trip to Miami in April.
Charlot is also looking into a junior day visit to Texas A&M, and mentioned the possibility of visiting USC.
As for his decision, Charlot may currently have Miami at the top of his list, but he does plan to take his time before making a decision.
"I don't really know," Charlot said. "I'm probably not going to make an early decision."
