Kris Bush has seen his stock rise
considerably in recent weeks.
After rushing for 1,450 yards and helping lead John
Curtis Christian to another Class 4A state championship, Bush (6-1, 195, 4.5)
now has offers from Colorado, Michigan State and Louisiana Tech among others.
"It's come down to those three," said JCC coach J.T.
Curtis. "I'm not real sure which one is on top right now, but Colorado just got
involved today. I know he's real excited about their interest and looking
forward to visiting them."
Bush visited LaTech on Jan. 17. He'll be at Michigan
State this weekend and close with Colorado on Jan. 31.
"He's got tremendous upside," Curtis said. "He's only
played football for about two years now. He's mainly been a basketball player
until these last two years, but he realized that football would be his best
opportunity to get a scholarship and keep playing sports in college. I don't
think he's anywhere near his potential right now, and he's been awfully good for
us."
