Louisiana RB has a big leader

Patterson (La.) running back William Griffin has a clear leader and is scheduled to make two official visits, with a third a possibility, before he makes his decision.
"Michigan is by far my favorite," Griffin said. "I am really into Michigan because of its atmosphere, fans and players. I have always been a Michigan fan since I was a kid."

Louisiana Tech and Nebraska are the other three schools in the mix.
Griffin recently played host to his Wolverines recruiter, associate head coach and running backs coach Fred Jackson.
"We talked about everything," Griffin said. "We talked about life, football. I speak with him every week."
He will make an official visit to Ann Arbor the weekend of Jan. 13.
Griffin will make an official visit to Louisiana Tech this weekend. Pete Perot is recruiting him for the Bulldogs. Following his visit to Michigan, he said he may set one up with Nebraska.
"I really enjoy taking all the trips," he said.
Griffin, the nation's No. 53 overall running back prospect, plans on making a final decision after his visits. He rushed for 1,996 yards and 23 touchdowns during his senior season.
