Louisiana RB getting letters

Marrero (La.) Archbishop Shaw running back Daniel Borne made a lot of noise in a limited action during his junior season.
The 6-foot, 200-pounder rushed for more than 1,000 yards in just six games last year.

"I'm ready for next season, too," he said.
Borne has been receiving letters from LSU, Alabama and Ole Miss. The in-state Tigers, along with Michigan and Southern Cal are on his early list of top schools.
Borne said that he grew up pulling for the Trojans and tries to model his game after 2005 Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush.
"Winning a championship and working hard (are important factors to consider)," Borne said. "Also being disciplined. There are two things you can do as a football player and one of them is to work hard."
Borne has two trips to Baton Rouge scheduled for this spring. He will attend LSU's Junior Day on March 4 and will participate in the Baton Rouge NIKE Camp on April 30.
