Louisiana QB waiting on bigger fish
Lutcher, La., two-star quarterback Dustin Mitchell is still waiting – waiting for a solid Division I school other than Louisiana-Lafayette or a smaller school like Southern to offer him.
“I had a good season, threw for a lot of yards, but I’m not getting a ton of major looks,” he said. “Southern seems like it’s the most interested. I’m probably going to go visit there. But other than that, I’m going to wait it out. I’m waiting for somebody bigger to come offer me.”
Mitchell, who is 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, is one of the top 30 players in Louisiana.
