Louisiana QB is waiting for more offers

Destrehan, La. quarterback Jordan Jefferson still is sitting on one offer from Ole Miss. The 6-foot-4, 200-pounder is possibly on the verge of more scholarships once the season gets started.
"A lot of schools are sending me letters," he said. "Right now Ole Miss is the only offer, but most of the other schools want to wait to see me play a couple games. I'm hearing from the entire SEC."

Jefferson is considering visits to a few schools this fall for games.
"I'm trying to go to a couple of the LSU games, Alabama, Ole Miss and Auburn."
What does the three-star prospect think about his lone offer?
"I've kept in contact with Ole miss a bit and they send me letters. I'm interested, but I want to wait and see what all happens this year too," he said. "For the most part, I'm looking for nice facilities, a good football program, academics and a style of offense that fits me."
Jefferson just started two-a-day practice this week.
"We're working hard and getting better everyday," he said. "The coaches changed the offense a little bit, adjusting to the talent we have on our team. I think I'm throwing the ball better after all the camps I went to this summer."
The No. 14 prospect in Louisiana will kick off the season on August 30th.
