Louisiana QB gets two-sport offer

Jefferies Tatford
has a strong offer to consider as his
recruitment winds down.
"I took an official visit to Louisiana Tech on the
weekend of the 17th," he said. "They had already offered me for baseball, but
they said it's an offer to play both now. It's up to me. It's a real good
opportunity to think about."
Tatford (6-4, 212, 4.63) is also considering
UL-Lafayette, McNeese State and a handful of baseball-only scholarships.
As a senior, Tatford led St. Thomas More to a 10-3
record and the quarterfinals of the Louisiana Class 4A playoffs. He passed for
1,633 yards and 12 touchdowns in his first season as a starter.
