Louisiana OL has two at the top

Monroe (La.) Carroll offensive lineman Alex Washington is still sitting on one scholarship offer, but he's getting plenty of attention from several other programs in the SEC.
"Most of the schools from SEC country are sending me letters," he said. "I've got an offer from Ole Miss and LSU, Tennessee, Florida and Arkansas are showing me the most attention of the schools that haven't offered."

Frank Wilson is recruiting Washington for the Rebels.
"I think he's a pretty good coach," Washington said. "He recruits good players and recruits this area for Ole Miss."
There are two schools at the top of Washington's list of favorites.
"Ole Miss and LSU are on top," he said.
Washington grew up an LSU fan.
This summer, Washington plans on making several unofficial visits, including one to Oxford, Miss.
"I'm going to take a couple of trips," he said. "I'm going to go to Ole Miss then."
Washington, who projects as a guard, believes that his skills will help out a program's passing attack at the next level.
"I'm a good pass-blocker," he said. "That's my strong point. I need to work on my run-blocking, but my team passes the ball 90 percent of the time.
