Monroe (La.) Neville offensive guard Troy Phan is name that you may not have heard a lot about so far in the recruiting process, but interest in this big man is beginning to pick up as a number of SEC schools have been in contact with him.

The 6-foot-2, 295-pound Phan attended the NIKE camp in Baton Rouge where he ran the 40-yard dash in 5.48 seconds, has a 4.81 shuttle, did 11 reps on the bench press and has a 21-inch vertical jump.
“I have not been able to make it to any college games so far this year,” Phan said. “I have just had a lot of schedule conflicts and haven’t been able to make it. I would say my top five right now are Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, LSU and Texas A&M.”
Phan is also being recruited by a number of academic giants as he carries a 3.5 GPA and scored a 24 on the ACT as a junior.
