Louisiana LB nearing decision

River Ridge (La.) John Curtis linebacker Jacque Jackson is a sleeper linebacker who had a solid showing in last month's class 4A Louisiana state championship game. He has picked up one Division I offer already and could be close to making his college choice.
"I still have the same visit to Bowling Green set up for January 14," Jackson said. "UCLA and Air Force both want me to come out there for a visit so I am probably going to try and do that if I do not commit to Bowling Green when I take my official visit up there. Right now they are my only and I like them a lot and don't want to miss the boat with them."

The 6-foot, 210-pound Jackson runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and posted 35 tackles and four sacks as a senior. He also earned all-area honors as a junior and senior.
"I may not actually commit while I am on my official visit to Bowling Green, but it would be like a day or two after I came back," Jackson said. "I want to make sure it's right and think about it for a day and talk about it with my family when I get back. I want to make sure that I am not getting caught up in the moment when I commit."
