Antron Dillon made an official
visit to Vanderbilt this past weekend and came away thoroughly impressed with
the Commodores.
"I thought it was real nice," he said. "The college and
town were really nice. It seems like a good place to go to school. I liked the
coaches and players, too. I think they've got a new attitude there where they
expect to start winning some games."
Dillon (6-5, 210, 4.5) said he came close to giving the
Commodores a verbal commitment. He'll hold off, though, and make visits to
UL-Monroe (1/17) and maybe Memphis (1/24).
"Vanderbilt is definitely my leader," he said. "It will
have to be pretty good to beat them out at this point."
Dillon was an all-district selection as a senior at
Independence HS, recording 65 tackles and 15 sacks.
