>Chase Pittman isn't a name that is new to the recruiting landscape, but he is a name that will be making some very large headlines in the very near future.
"I am going to get it over with pretty early," the 6-foot-4 and 265 pound Pittman said. "I am thinking possibly the third week of September. I have visits to LSU and Texas planned."
"I am going to see Texas on September 8th against North Carolina. I am planning on going to the Louisiana game the weekend before but that might not happen until after the Texas game."
Do you have a leader at this point?
"It's pretty much still open," he said. "Oklahoma, Louisiana State and Texas are way out ahead."
"I am going to go where I feel at home. Where I feel comfortable and what fits me best will be my college of the future."
What are the advantages to the schools left on your list?
"Texas is the school my brother attended adn I really like the coaching staff."
"Louisiana State is the home school and I have a lot of friends at that school."
"Oklahoma is just Oklahoma and my close friend Brent Rawls is on the team."
It really seems like it will be a winning situation for whatever school Chase Pittman decides to attend. The lucky school that gets his commitment will definately be getting a winner for certain.
