team, said LSU remains his lone scholarship offer, but he's
more than satisfied with that at this juncture.
"They're still at the top of the charts... by far," he
said. "I'm trying to line up a trip down there pretty soon, maybe for the
Mississippi State game next weekend.
"The most important thing (in his decision) is playing for
a good program close to home. That's why I like LSU so much. Plus, it's a good
place to get an education and I really respect coach Saban. He's a fair guy, a
real honest, straight-up person I can trust. I also like how hard his teams
play, and all the crazy fans at Tiger Stadium."
Could a commitment be coming soon?
"I don't know," he said. "I'm just taking my time right now
and seeing how things go. I may take some other visits."
Muse said he's also hearing regularly from Southern Miss
and Louisiana-Lafayette (both who have called this month) as well as Alabama,
Louisiana Tech and Tulane.
As a junior, he recorded 88 tackles and 10 sacks. He's
chalked up one sack and one interception in two games this season.
"I've got a sore achillies right now, so I've not been 100
percent," he said. "But I'm still playing pretty well, playing through the pain.
I'll be back at full strength soon."
