Lots of schools looking at Wilson

Saint Augustine (Fla.) running back Rai-Shawn Wilson is getting interest from a number of college programs heading into his senior season and while the versatile prospect remains wide open, there are five programs he admits pique his interest at this time.
"Recruiting is going good so far," Wilson said. "I've got 12 full scholarships from all different teams. My mind is still wide open about a few teams, but right now it's Florida State, Miami, Florida, Georgia and probably South Carolina."
The 5-foot-11, 195-pounder is primarily being recruited as a running back, but several schools have talked to him about playing multiple positions.
"A lot of schools just want me to play running back," Wilson said. "But some schools talk about playing other positions. Florida talks about running back and safety, Georgia running back and safety, with Florida State, it's just running back. South Carolina said I can play anywhere, running back, in the slot or on defense.
"A lot have said running back, but there are about seven that talk about different positions."
It's no surprise that several programs are talking about various positions. Wilson will be used in a number of ways by his high school team this season.
"They've got me playing fullback, they've got me playing where (Class of 2006 Florida signee) Brandon James played, which is the 'H'. They've got me at multiple spots, even free safety a little.
"Coach said I'd be getting the ball a lot more this year.
Wilson says he definitely will catch a trio of college games live this fall.
"I told Florida State I would come up and watch them play Florida," he said. I told Tennessee that I am going to watch them play LSU because I have a teammate up there and I am going to watch the Miami-FSU game."
Wilson has a timeframe for a final decision.
"I am probably going to announce after I take all of my official visits."
Wilson is a three-star rated prospect and the No. 90 overall prospect in the Florida Top 100.
