Lots Of Offers For McClendon

Bryan McClendon is an athlete in every sense of the word. With teams such as Auburn, Georgia, North Carolina and Ohio State offering scholarships at the cornerback position and Notre Dame, Louisville, and Georgia Tech offering a scholarship as a wide receiver, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound McClendon is constantly hearing from schools. So who is in the lead?
"There are four schools that I would say are in the lead,” the Atlanta (Ga.) Mays star said. “Georgia, Auburn, North Carolina, and Georgia Tech.”

However, with the recent movement of George O’Leary, there is a little shakeup in that top four.
"I want to see who they bring in,” he said of Georgia Tech. “Coach O'Leary said that he would announce this week who he is going to take with him to Notre Dame, so I have to wait for that, but they said I still have my scholarship waiting."
The team on the rise is recently visited North Carolina.
"I really liked my visit there,” he said. “It was fun to visit with the players, and I was really impressed with (defensive backs) coach Tenuta's record. All his starters went on to play in the 'league'. But I still don't think I have a real leader."
Leading his team to an 8-2 record, McClendon recorded 38 catches for 1,116 yards and 11 touchdowns offensively, and 43 tackles, 3 interceptions, and three fumble recoveries, including one for a touchdown.
