Lots of letters for Pippen

Tuscaloosa (Ala.) Central running back prospect DeMario Pippen attended the Rivals.com Atlanta Junior Day last Saturday at Lovejoy High School in Hampton, Ga., and gave Rivals.com a quick update on his recruitment.
"Recruiting is going fine right now, I am getting letters from a couple of big time Division I schools like Auburn, Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss and more schools in the SEC," Pippen said.

The two in-state schools currently stand out to Pippen.
"To me, I think Auburn and Alabama because I am in touch more with the coaches right now at those schools more than any others," he said.
"The graduation percentage of the players that have been there before and what kind of coaches are there," he said. "Also, what kind of program they are and their tradition. But most of all, I just want to get a degree."
Pippen talked about what makes him a potential Division I prospect.
"I bring leadership, pass blocking, I'm a good route runner and I run the ball hard," he said.
