Lots of attention for Mississippi DT

Canton (Miss.) defensive tackle Josh Jackson currently has three Division I-A scholarship offers and is getting attention from multiple Southeastern Conference programs.
"I have offers from Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Southern Mississippi and (Division I-AA) Jackson State," Jackson said. "The teams that are recruiting me are Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Alabama and LSU."

"Everything really clicks up there," he said. "I had a great time at the camp."
Jackson plans to head to camp at Mississippi State and LSU in July.
Though he missed Alabama's camp, he hopes to take a visit to Tuscaloosa in the near future.
"They want to meet me again," he said. "Since I didn't have a chance to come to their camp, they want me to come up there and visit the school."
Currently, Jackson does not have a leader among the schools he is considering.
"All of the schools are recruiting me about the same," Jackson said. "I really can't say that I have a leader right now. All the schools are even."
Jackson had 84 tackles and 14 sacks for Canton during his junior year. He rates as a high (5.7) three-star prospect, is the No. 10 overall prospect in the state of Mississippi and the No. 25 defensive tackle prospect in America according to Rivals.com.
