Los Alamitos sleeper is emerging

Los Alamitos, Calif., has one of the best football programs in southern California. Once again Los Al will be one of the three favorites to get to the CIF Championship game. The Griffins once again will be well coached and talented.
One player to keep your eye on is fullback/linebacker John Hale (6-3, 230, 4.8).

Hale is somewhat of a sleeper because he played fullback last year and was used primarily as a blocking back. This fall Hale is expected to make his presence known as a linebacker and the word from the practice field is he’s doing a great job.
Hale is a selfless player who does what the coaches ask of him. Once he moved to the fullback spot as a junior, he helped jump start a once sluggish ground game.
The versatile Hale also saw time as a TE and slotback.
There is a reason that many think that Hale will blow up this season and become a sought after prospect. He has good bloodlines. His father signed a three-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys out of college.
The scouting report on Hale is he has great instincts and he’s very physical.
If Hale lives up to his immense potential then look for him to help Los Alamitos to compete for an always tough to obtain, a CIF SS Division I title.
Hale has received letters from the likes of Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Arizona, BYU, Air Force, Navy, Boise State, Wyoming, Fresno State, Villanova and San Diego State.
Keep an eye on Hale this fall. He could end up being very good.
