Lore to contribute soon for Huskies

Port Chester (N.Y.) Trinity Pauling tight end / strongside defensive end Chris Lore had dropped off the recruiting map this month, but as it turns out, it was for good reason. He signed scholarship papers with UConn in December and is now preparing for spring football.
“I'm at UConn right now,” commented the 6-foot-4, 245-pound prospect, who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds. “I came for the spring semester.

“We started working out and running as a team already. I've been here for like a week already.”
Lore visited West Virginia and UConn back in November and said he knew then where he wanted to go.
“Well, I came on my visit, and I just loved the school,” he explained. “I thought it was a great opportunity for me to play and to come early in the spring.”
After spending a year in prep school, Lore will have five years to play four for the Huskies.
