Looks like three team race for Stanzi

Mentor (Ohio) Lake Catholic quarterback Rick Stanzi, who was one of the fastest rising prospects in the Buckeye state during his senior season, will likely make one more official visit, then choose his college.
"I haven't decided yet," Stanzi said. "I'm going to take my Purdue visit Jan. 14 before I make my decision. It definitely looks that way right now."
Stanzi has made official visits to Iowa and Miami of Ohio.

"Unless a new team jumps in, those are my last three," Stanzi said. "They are all still pretty even. I talked to all of them the past week."
Of the three schools Stanzi is looking at, only one, Iowa, played in a bowl game.
"Iowa fought pretty hard to come back (against Florida)," Stanzi said. "It was a fun game to watch."
The 6-foot-4 and 193 pound Stanzi passed for 2100 yards in leading his team to a 10-2 record during his senior season. Stanzi connected for 21 touchdowns with eight interceptions. He also rushed for 10 touchdowns.
