Looks like a two team battle for Edds

Greenwood, Ind., linebacker A.J. Edds has over a half dozen scholarship offers, but it looks like his decision will come down to two Big Ten schools.
"Right now it's pretty much Purdue and Iowa," Edds said. "At this point it's one of those two. Georgia Tech is the outside school.

"I'm going to take an official visit to Purdue when they play Notre Dame. It's Oct. 1 I think.
"I'm making an unofficial visit to Iowa Sept. 17 when they play Northern Iowa.
"After I go to those two games I'll be ready to decide. I imagine it will be a couple days after I visit Purdue.
"If I had to say right now Iowa would be in the lead. But it's close."
When asked why the Hawkeyes hold the lead, Edds said, "I feel like it would be great playing in their system. They have a great strength program. And they have a law school right on campus. The combination of everything is great.
"But Purdue is a lot like that too."
The 6-foot-4 and 215 pound Edds made 70 solo tackles and had 69 assists during his junior season. Edds is the No. 4 prospect in the state of Indiana in the Rivals.com player rankings.
