Long raves about Pac-12 visit

David Long has been picking up offers, seeing more interest and recently the 2016 two-way prospect from Los Angeles (Calif.) Loyola took an important Pac-12 trip.
Long, who's being recruited as a wide receiver and defensive back, went to Washington, talked with the coaches, saw a game and loved his experience in Seattle.

"I took one unofficial to Washington about two weeks ago and I'm going to go to the Army combine in January and after that I have the potential to visit Duke," Long said.
"Washington was great. I went up there and talked with the coaches and I really got a lot of time before the game to sit down and see how I would fit in the offense and the defense and how I could be a two-way player. We talked about a lot of things and I just loved it up there."
The three-star from Los Angeles Loyola said he's mainly been hearing from Duke and Washington in recent weeks but other schools that have not offered - mainly Vanderbilt and Oregon - have shown interest as well.
"I've been hearing a lot from Duke since they offered and I've been talking steadily with Washington but that's about it so far," Long said.
"Vanderbilt came by the school and I talked with them. I'm starting to build a really good relationship with them and I've been talking to them since the spring. I think that's one of the schools on the verge of offering. I've been talking a little bit here and there with Oregon's receivers coach."
So far, Long has landed offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Duke, Miami, Nebraska, New Mexico, UCLA, Utah, Washington and Washington State. At this point since it's still so early, Long is in no rush to make a decision.
"I'm definitely sitting back and trying to keep everything open," Long said. "I'm just waiting to see if any other schools are planning to reach out and get in contact before I start sorting things out."
