Long lands first two offers

Canton Glen Oak linebacker Brandon Long , a 6-foot-2 and 220 pounder, is drawing interest from a variety of recruiters. It's a list of college coaches that includes representatives from a number of Big Ten schools.
"I got calls from all of the MAC schools, Ohio State, Michigan State, Iowa, Penn State, Boston College, Cincinnati, and North Carolina," Long said. "I might have had some more, but I forget."

"Akron has offered, and Cincinnati offered last week."
"My top five would probably have to be Notre Dame, Penn State, Michigan, Cincinnati, and Ohio State, but not in any specific order. Those are just my top schools."
"I'm just waiting to see which school wants me, which fits me best."
"I'm going to Ohio State's camp June 26. I'm going to Bowling Green's camp and maybe Akron's. I go to Pitt's June 19. That's all I know for sure, but I'm still looking at Penn State and Michigan State's camps."
Long made 32 solo tackles and had 36 assists during his junior season. He had four sacks and five other tackles for losses despite missing three games with an ankle injury.
