Long could take other visits

Four-star cornerback David Long committed to Stanford in early August but as he continues to wait out the arduous admissions process he's looking at scheduling more official visits. The Los Angeles Loyola prospect has already taken a trip to Michigan and Notre Dame and a few others are being considered for after the season.

WHAT'S NEXT?: Long is not going to rush official visits over the next few weeks. Instead, the four-star plans to wait until after his senior season and then look at others. The Los Angeles Loyola standout could take trips to Ohio State, Washington, Duke and he said a return trip to Michigan is not out of the question.
IN HIS WORDS: "Not until the season ends but I have some (visits) in mind," Long said.
RIVALS' REACTION: It seems like Long is just doing some due diligence in case the admissions process at Stanford continues to drag on and he needs to figure out other options. The Cardinal is still in a strong position to keep his commitment but a return trip to Michigan - if it actually happens - could put the Wolverines in striking distance. Long loves coach Jim Harbaugh and that staff so that would be something to watch for.
